Dr. Rory McCabe
Dentist

Dr. Rory McCabe was born in Stratford Ontario and raised in Stratford and London Ontario. He started his path towards dentistry in 2005 when he completed his Bachelor of Medical Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Western Ontario. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2010, winning the Dr. Walter R. Teteruck Award in Fixed Prosthodontics upon graduation. 
Rory’s particular interests include smile design using porcelain veneers, crowns,  bridges, and Invisalign®.  He has pursued extensive training to create oral appliances for sleep apnea and snoring.  He is a current member of the Seattle Study Club and enjoys pursuing continuing education.  Rory is certified to provide mild sedation by administering nitrous oxide (commonly referred to as laughing gas), which he uses to ensure his patients’ utmost comfort.  He has completed the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute™ surgical training course for dental implants.   Rory diligently maintains his good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and Ontario Dental Association (ODA).

Rory met his wife and partner in dentistry while studying at the University of Western Ontario. They practice and reside in Kingston with their two sons and love to take advantage of the outdoor living available in Kingston with plenty of jogging, biking and campin

Dr. Liz McCabe
Dentist

Dr. Liz McCabe grew up in our nation’s capital – Ottawa, Ontario. She started on her path towards dentistry by completing her Bachelor of Medical Sciences in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Western Ontario in 2006. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Western Ontario in 2010, winning the Quintessence Award in Periodontics.
Liz has completed dental implant training through the LITE program and enjoys placing and restoring implants.  She has completed training in neuromodulator therapy to administer Botox and Dysport for facial pain and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (commonly referred to as TMD or TMJ) through the prestigious Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics.  Liz also particularly enjoys endodontic treatment (root canals), as she finds it especially rewarding to reduce patients’ pain.  Liz is certified to provide mild sedation by administering nitrous oxide (laughing gas), which allows her to provide her patients with the most comfortable possible experience.   She also enjoys attending continuing education as a member of the Seattle Study Club.  Since becoming a practicing dentist, she maintains good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and the Ontario Dental Association (ODA). 
While studying dentistry at the University of Western Ontario, she met Dr. Rory McCabe, her husband and partner. Together with their two sons, they enjoy taking advantage of the Kingston outdoors with biking and hiking.  When she isn’t at work, you can be sure to find Liz in the garden or experimenting in the kitchen.

Ashley

Office Manager

After working many years as a Certified Level II Dental Assistant, Ashley has recently made the switch to Office Manager. She is responsible for handling staff and HR matters while overseeing the daily operations and making sure our patients have a pleasant experience. She is always ready with a smile and able to answer your questions during any appointment with us. In her spare time Ashley enjoys being outside and going on nature walks with her Australian Shepard Mylo and two children. She also enjoys baking all sorts of desserts and watching Netflix.

Michelle

Patient Coordinator

Michelle is our patient coordinator at the office. She is here to help with all your scheduling, financial, and insurance needs. Most often, she will be the first smiling face you’ll see when you come into the office. Michelle is always available to answer any questions you may have and strives to make your time here as pleasant, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. In her spare time Michelle enjoys golfing and being on the water. She loves spending time with her significant other and two cats Kozmoe and Kramer.

Lisa

Registered Dental Hygentist

Lisa has been with McCabe Family Dentistry since we opened in 2014. She has been in the dental field for 30+ years graduating in 1992 with a diploma in dental hygiene. She has worked in a variety of dental settings including periodontics, orthodontics, public health, and education. Lisa is continually upgrading her knowledge and skills and is looking forward to sharing her passion for dental hygiene with you. She also likes to have fun and make your experience here at McCabe Family Dentistry a great one. In her spare time, Lisa loves to spend time with her family and rescue stray cats.

Kelly

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kelly moved to Napanee area 18 years ago from the small town of Alexandria, Ontario. A graduate of the Dental Hygiene program in Kingston, Kelly has happily been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 12 years and enjoys the opportunity to help others feel at ease in the dental chair. Aside from being a part of the McCabe Family Dental team Kelly adores spending time with her family and friends, her pets and likes to dabble in various hobbies such as refinishing furniture, cake decorating and artwork. 

Kelsey

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kelsey graduated from Durham College dental hygiene program in 2013. Being a nervous patient as a child, Kelsey takes an understanding and caring approach to make everyone’s experience enjoyable and relaxing. She strives to provide the best care possible and is always open to answer any questions to ease anxious nerves. In her spare time Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two kids, she also enjoys reading and baking with her daughter.
 

Robyn

Certified Level II Dental Assistant

Robyn is a Certified Level II Dental Assistant, she graduated in 2018 from KLC with her dental assisting certificate. Robyn works hard to ensure every patient has a positive experience. She is continually updating her knowledge and skills to provide the best care at each visit. In her spare time Robyn enjoys being outside and spending time with her family and new baby. 

Courtney

Registered Dental Hygienist 

Courtney graduated from the Durham College dental hygiene program in 0214.  She brings a wealth of experience from a number of dental settings, including pediatrics and orthodontics.  Courtney strives to ensure the best quality of care for her patients by continuously improving her knowledge and skills.  In her spare time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Tammy

Certified Dental Assistant

Tammy graduated from Trillium College as a certified dental assistant in 2004.  After working in Oshawa for 21 years she moved back to Napanee and joined the McCabe Family Dentistry Team where she has found the transition to be quite nice.  In her free time Tammy enjoys camping, kayaking, hiking and spending time with her family and friends especially her twin granddaughters

Mindy

Certified Level II Dental Assistant

Mindy graduated from Durham College as a Level II dental assistant in 2018. Mindy’s calm approach and friendly chair side manner helps patients feel more relaxed during their visit at our office. Outside of assisting, Mindy enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends and family. Mindy also likes being outdoors whether shes’s out on the water paddle boarding or trail riding her snowmobile in the winter months.

Alex

Certified Level II Dental Assistant

Alex has been a team member at McCabe Family Dentistry since 2019 when she graduated as a Certified Level II Dental Assistant from Kingston Learning Centre.  You’ll usually find her chairside working with the doctors.  When she isn’t working, Alex loves to be active outdoors. She enjoys fishing, camping and four wheeling and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Lindsay

Certified Level II Dental Assistant
Lindsay graduated from the dental assisting program at KLC in 2015, and the practical nursing program in 2019. She loves learning and expanding her knowledge.  Lindsay primarily works in the sterilization centre ensuring all infection prevention and control practices are followed to the highest standards.  In her free time, Lindsay enjoys being out in nature, cuddling with her 2 rescue cats, and spending time with her partner and family.
